The Amal Festival, in collaboration with adnstream.tv, announces a new edition of Amal Express
The International Euroarab Film Festival Amal announces a new edition of the short film competition Amal Express, an activity that counts on the collaboration of adnstream.tv and on the support of Santiago de Compostela University.
Amal Express consists of the realization of a short film based on a keyword provided by the Amal Festival organization in an “Express” time: 96 hours. This initiative aims to encourage creativity and innovation, and to promote culture in digital media through film.
Regulations and registration forms to participate in Amal Express will be published in September in this website, as well as the keyword on which have to be based the participating shorts. All works submitted to the contest can be watched on www.adnstream.tv, within the short channel "amalexpress" where internet users can vote for their favourite.
The winner will be announced at the Closing Ceremony of Amal Festival, which this year will celebrate its eighth edition from 23 to 30 October, and will receive a prize of 500 euros. Last year this award went to The scale, a Hispanic-Turkish short film by the journalists Daniel Iriarte, Francisco Martinez and Andres Mourenza. The keyword selected for the first edition of Amal Express was "hope".
